Due to its superior cut and comfort the B-10 Flight Jacket became a highly sought after item in the post-war period. It did not take long until civilian manufacturers were making the B-10 style with different fabrics and colors. Especially in the 1950s these jackets became very popular with motorcyclists and hot rodders as many pictures of the 1950s proof.

With this historical background we decided to develop our Hybrid Jacket. The pattern we used was exactly the one as our U.S. Army Air Forces B-10 but with a different outer shell. To be historically correct we went with a fabric which was also very common in the 1940-50s. The densely woven heavy corded cotton. This fabric has been used by the U.S. Navy since the 1930s due to its superior wind and water resistant characteristics. For our Hybrid Jackets we used the exact same fabric which was also used on U.S. Navy Deck jackets in order to create a jacket that withstands the harshest outdoor conditions.
